Heidelberg QM46 Status Codes - Before you call us you may find the below information useful if you have one of these machines.

Activate special function 56 to access – S 56
If several faults have occurred scroll through using +/- buttons​

Codes starting 01 relate to printing unit 1

01-01 Guard inking unit S4
01-02 Guard plate cylinder S3 or dampening system S3
01-03 Guard printing unit O.S. S1 (door)
01-04 Encoder of triple-speed shaft B6
Turn the press one revolution to re-synchronize
01-05 Plate insertion or ejection interrupted (e.g. by opening a guard)
inch the press backwards until "plate change" button lamp is flashing. 
Press "plate change" and remove the plate​

Codes starting 02 relate to printing unit 2

02-01 Guard inking unit PU2 S2
02-02 Guard dampening system PU2 S5
02-03 Emergency stop, secondary control panel
02-05 Plate insertion or ejection interrupted (e.g. by opening a guard)
inch the press backwards until "plate change" button lamp is flashing. 
Press "plate change" and remove the plate​

11-01 Crank handle feeder S19
11-02 Pile too high at feeder
11-04 Guard blanket cylinder S1
11-05 Pressure switch for pneumatic system S24

Codes starting 12 relate to the delivery
 

12-01 Crank handle at delivery S20
12-03 Pile too low at delivery S18
12-04 Overshooting sheet control S21
12-05 Encoder "pile height control at delivery"

13-01 Control panel emergency stop S7

Codes starting 15 relate to the control cabinet

15-01 MRK error message (motor control pcb)

15-02 MRK warning: temperature of main motor M1 too high

15-03 Tacho IDS
15-04 Fault in safety circuit
